Prreading Questions
- What is the title of the chapter?
- Read the introduction. List the two topics you are most excited to learn about in this chapter.
- Sketch the graphic organizer in the space below.
- List the headings for each section in the chapter.
- Look at the pictures in the chapter. Select the one you find most interesting. Write one sentence that explains how you think the picture relates to the chapter.
- Read the chapter summary. Write one sentence that explains what you think is the main idea of the chapter.
- Choose a section in the chapter and create a Note-Taking Tree. Be sure to have all 4 questions who, what. when, and where. Answer your questions and write a summary using the answers.
