Important People

May 29th, 2008 by Mr. Dorrough

imagine that you were going to give an award to the most important person who lived in the 20th century.  What criteria would you use to select this person?  Who would you choose.  Rosa Parks?  Nelson Mandela?  Walt Disney?  Your parents?  Martin Luther King Jr.?  Winston Churchill?  Cesar Chavez?

Pick any one of these, or someone else, and list three of their major accomplishments  and/or major events of their life.

In the preview 30 you are asked to do this, and to illustrate their accomplishments.

We are going to look at the lives of ten important people and then we are going to asses their place in history.
